The Pink Paperclip was founded in 2003 by Maureen Schwab, a
successful business woman turned stay-at-home-mom who wanted an
outlet for her creative energy and ideas. Here is what Maureen knew
for sure; she was always drawn to the intimacy of receiving a
beautiful card or invitation, and she loved the process of putting
together celebrations of life events like weddings, new babies, and
all kinds of parties. That is how the concept of The Pink Paperclip
was born.
The idea was to work with top producers of quality stationery
products and to provide service that would surpass the expectations
of customers both locally and nationwide. The business would meld
Maureen’s need for creativity with her appreciation of quality
stationery, backed up by a decade of marketing experience.
Starting locally, Maureen attended paper and craft shows offering
product through a few vendors. It became clear early on that The
Pink Paperclip was filling a void among those who appreciate the
effort that goes into selecting just the right card or invitation
for a given occasion. Word of mouth began to generate new business
and interest from stationery producers, so Maureen expanded.
Following a natural evolution, The Pink Paperclip now has an
expanded web presence and regularly adds product lines. The Pink
Paperclip is only as far away as your computer, and in today’s
wireless world, that isn’t far at all!
The creative team at The Pink Paperclip is always on the lookout for
exciting new products to add to their catalog. In addition to
stationery goods, they also offer unique gift items such as photo
charms and holiday stickers. All of the merchandise available
through The Pink Paperclip are items Maureen would be proud to use
for her own events and occasions.
Plans are in place to launch an original Pink Paperclip product line
in 2008. These new designs will emphasize the elegance and quality
that their customers count on, while incorporating customer feedback
and personal sensibilities.
